Tranformation of my Honda Jazz Part 1

Photobucket

My Stock Honda Jazz arrived from KAH motor on 23rd Jun 2006. I drove a Subaru TS previously for 3 years before deciding to change to something fuel economical like Honda Jazz. However the temptation to modify my car crept into my mind. Thats the danger of visiting the forum for updates. Hahaha. The journey to poison starts ……

Initially I change my first rims to 15” Silver SSR with fake Brembo cover. After a few days of disliking the colour of my rims, I change to Bronze 15” RAYS Volks Racing CE28N.

A Valiant eyelid was added to make my ride look fiercer. Within weeks, my ride definitely looked “fiercer”. However, some elements were still missing ……

My Sony head unit with 10 disc changer was transferred from my Subaru to my Jazz, added 2 amplifiers, speakers and a woofer to enhance my listening pleasure. A 3 year old car alarm system Boomerang was also transferred to my Jazz.

Poison list kept increasing. I am a sucker for looks and wanted my car to be sportier, fiercer & unique. Eventually I change my stock bonnet to a Carbon Fibre bonnet with vents and added a LTA approved HKS Silent Hi-Power muffler. The 3 Defi BF meters (amber colour) and Defi VSD Concept were installed soon after. The meters allow me to monitor water temperature, oil temperature and oil pressure constantly. Stylish!!!

Being fascinated by car stickers designs on friends’ rides in the forum, I found out that I love the Tokyo Drift design tribal design right after watching the Fast & Furious 3 : Tokyo Drift. Hence, my first sticker design was pasted on my ride.

Red superior quality 3M carmat was added to trap dirt effectively. The blue leds were added to the interior & exterior of my ride. Professional strobes kits for headlight was added and integrated to my new Pageguard alarm system. The Japanese voice module was installed with the alarm to give my ride a JDM feeling. Viper-armmmmed!! Viper-disarmmmmmmed!!

Cusco Tower strut bar and lower brace improve the handling of the ride. With my exhaust changed to HKS, a HKS Reloaded air filter system was also installed by Zensport. HKS Reloaded gives a very soothing suction sound when you rev your accelerator pedal. These all completed my Exhaust and Air Intake project. Header is unable to replace due to LTA regulations.

I went to GLARE to restore my ride’s paintwork to showroom condition. A pair of foglights was also installed to my front bumper. Note that my door protector was removed. Reasons for removal of door protector … See below.

Long time ago, I fell in love doing a J’s Racing theme(J's Racing stickers design especially) for my ride. J’s Racing stickers design was thus my ultimate aim to be pasted on my ride. My ride’s stickers were done up slowly for at least 2 weeks. Purple looks awfully good!!! I also imported and installed an original GT Wing from J’s Racing Japan. At this point of time, with my stickers almost half way to completion, I felt that my ride needs a lowering badly.

Cusco Compact Zero 1 was installed by Mcwell Ventures finally because a lot of people ‘complain’ ride without lowering is ugly. I do not know how true this comment is.
